Our history

Our firm is born in Lecce during the fifties, a small handmade roasting with a tasting bar in the centre of the town. A 5 kg coffee-roaster, a blend and a few customers. Very soon that bar starts to be a point of reference for people from Lecce and for the whole Salento. A constant coming of new customers and above all soldiers, especially the close air terminal ones in Galatina. As a consequence, the historical Bar and blend of Quarta roasting took their name from air officers' uniforms: Avio Bar and Avio "Quality Supremacy" blend.
